Grilling. Bacon. Hotdogs. Why not combine these three favorites to create one amazing crowd pleaser: Grilled Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs.
Wrap the bacon around a COLEMAN NATURAL® Uncured Beef Hot Dog and secure with wooden toothpicks because bacon shrinks as it cooks. Keep an eye on the hotdogs as they cook, with your tongs ready in case of flare-ups. Move the hotdogs around the grill in order to ensure they all cook at relatively the same time. They should be done after about eight minutes of grilling. Enjoy as is or place in a bun and top with traditional condiments like ketchup, mustard and relish – or have a little fun with grilled pineapple and onions. (Make sure to remove the toothpicks before serving! Also, you can break the toothpicks in half before securing the bacon in order to avoid longer ends that are more likely to burn while grilling.)
