Caliente Turkey Burger Bowl




1 COLEMAN NATURAL® Uncooked Frozen Turkey Burger

1 cup of lettuce greens, chopped

2 tablespoons pickled jalapeno

3 tablespoons home-made or prepared guacamole

¼ cup pepper jack cheese, cut into strips

3 tablespoons pickled red onions (recipe below)

¼ cup adobo tomatoes (recipe below)





  • Grill the turkey burger according to the directions on the package.
  • Place the chopped lettuce greens in a bowl and top with the grilled turkey burger in the center of the lettuce.
  • Surround the burger with individual piles of the rest of the ingredients.
  • Drizzle all of the ingredients with your favorite ranch dressing or even some sour cream combined with lime juice.


Pickled onions

  • Thinly slice a red onion and place in a small sauce pan filled with ¼ cup of white vinegar.
  • Bring to a boil and allow to simmer for several minutes.
  • Turn off heat and allow to stand for a half hour.
  • Drain off the vinegar and reserve the pickled onions.


Adobo Tomatoes

  • Chop one or two (based on how hot you like it) chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and add to a drained can of diced tomatoes.


You can also easily turn this recipe into a yummy hand-held burger by topping a grilled COLEMAN NATURAL® Turkey Burger with the ingredients. Add some lettuce greens (optional) and serve it on your favorite toasted bun!
