Fresh Ground Pork from Coleman Natural is made of an 80% lean / 20% fat blend for a rich flavor without excess fat.

Ground pork can be swapped out for ground beef, chicken, or turkey in many recipes. Lower in fat than ground beef, pork is a lighter addition to your recipe. But with a higher fat content than chicken or turkey, it has more flavor and can be easily adapted to cuisines and seasonings from all over the world.

Coleman Natural pork is sourced from American family farms that meet over 200 standards of humane animal care. This includes raising their hogs crate-free, with more room to move around and a low stress environment that results in healthier animals and better quality meat.

Ground Pork Cooking Tips

  • stovetop
  • grill
  • oven

Ground pork can be added to dozens of different dishes. Shape into patties for tasty pork burgers for the grill, or make meatballs to add to your favorite pasta. Crumbles make delicious filling for tacos or lettuce wraps, or a hearty addition to stir fries, salads, pizzas, and even queso.

Make sure your pork is cooked through before serving. If you see any pink, it’s not done yet! When making patties or meatballs, check for an internal temperature of at least 165°F.

How Is Coleman Natural Ground Pork Made?

Our ground pork comes from the two shoulder cuts of the hog: the upper shoulder and the picnic (lower part of the shoulder). This area has the perfect 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio for moist, juicy pork. Pork from Coleman Natural has no filler and no additives!
