What is kielbasa? In a word, it’s sausage! Kielbasa is simply the Polish word for sausage. There are many types of kielbasa, but in the U.S., it usually refers to a ring or rope of smoked pork sausage seasoned with a traditional blend of spices.

Simply heat your fully-cooked kielbasa on the grill, in the oven, on the stovetop, or in the slow cooker, and it’s ready to enjoy.
To cook in a skillet, slice it into 1” rounds and sauté on the stovetop until warm. Put the whole rope in the oven or on the grill over indirect heat until the inside reaches a toasty 140°F. Or slice your kielbasa and add it to soups or stews in your slow cooker.
